At a glance
- Email hello@letresolve.com with "Feature idea" in the subject.
- Describe the problem you're trying to solve, not just the solution.
- We read every idea and reply.
- Some things are already planned, and a few we've decided not to build.
How to suggest a feature

What makes a great suggestion
The most useful suggestions describe a real problem. Often there's a simpler or better way to solve it than the first idea that comes to mind.
Harder to act on
"Add a calendar."
Easy to act on
"I need to remember when each gas certificate expires. At the moment I keep a note on my phone, and I've missed one before."
It also helps to know how often the problem comes up, and who's involved: you, your agent, your contractors.
How we decide what to build
We ask a few questions of every idea:
- Does it help get repairs from reported to resolved? That's what LetResolve is for.
- Will it help many landlords, not just one?
- Does it keep LetResolve simple? Every new button has to earn its place.
- Can we run it without raising prices?
- Does it protect people's privacy?
We'll always be honest with you. If an idea isn't right for LetResolve, we'll tell you why, rather than leave it unanswered.
Already on our list
These ideas are already planned. Plans can change, so please treat this as a direction rather than a promise of dates:
- Invitation emails sent for you, so you don't have to send the link yourself.
- Follow-up questions in Ask LetResolve, and answers that appear as they're written.
- Questions about housing regulations in Ask LetResolve, with references to the official sources.
- Faster-loading photo thumbnails for issues with lots of photos.
- Importing your existing spreadsheet of issues.
- Signing up and choosing a plan yourself.
Things we've decided not to build
Saying no to some things is how LetResolve stays simple. We don't plan to build:
- Rent collection and accounting. It's a different job, with different rules, and you almost certainly have something for it already.
- A portal for tenants. It would change how LetResolve has to be run, and its price, completely.
- Booking and scheduling contractors. Assigned to is deliberately simple.
- Separate phone apps. LetResolve already works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen.
If you think we've got one of these wrong, tell us why. We do change our minds when we hear a good reason.
