- The Issue Log opens, showing every matching issue, whether it's open or resolved.
Quick search always starts afresh: it shows every status and clears any other filters you'd set.
On a phone
The search box at the top is hidden on small screens. Open the Issue Log and use its own Search the log…
box instead.
What search looks at
Search looks for your words in four places on every issue:
- Issue or entry (the summary)
- Description
- Comments
- Resolution
It finds your words inside longer ones too, so leak also finds leaking and leaks. Capital letters don't matter.
Search doesn't look at property addresses, tenants' names, who an issue is assigned to, or photo descriptions. To see everything at one address, use the Property filter instead, or open the property's own page.
Filtering the Issue Log
Across the top of the Issue Log is a row of filters. Each one takes effect as soon as you choose it. For the search box, press Enter.
| Filter | Choices |
|---|---|
| Status | Open only (the starting choice, which hides resolved and closed issues), All, or a single status such as On Hold |
| Priority | Any, or H, M or L |
| Property | All properties, or just one |
| Damp / mould | Any, or damp and mould issues only |
| Outsourcing | Any, or only issues that need a contractor |
| Search the log… | Words to look for. Press Enter to apply. |
Your filters stay in place while you move around LetResolve, until you refresh the page.
Reading the Issue Log
- Columns: #ID, Issue or entry, Property, Tenant, Status, Priority, the dates reported and resolved, Assigned to, and Flags (Damp and Outsource).
- Order: high priority first, then the oldest reported, so the most urgent and longest-waiting issues are always at the top.
- Coloured edges: red for high priority, amber for issues open more than 30 days.
- How many: up to 200 issues at a time. The heading shows how many are listed. If you have more, narrow the filters.
- Choose any row to open that issue.
Exporting what you see
Choose Export this view to download the issues that match your current filters (up to 500) as a CSV spreadsheet. It opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
The spreadsheet includes: #ID, Issue or entry, Property, Tenant, Status, Priority, Date reported, Date resolved, Days open, Assigned to, Outsource required, and Damp or mould.
Filters decide the export
Set the filters first, then export. Want every issue ever logged? Set Status to All and leave everything else as Any.

Search tips
- Search for one distinctive word, such as boiler, gutter or extractor. Several words are looked for together, as a phrase.
- Not finding it? The Issue Log's own search box keeps your other filters. If Status is set to Open only, resolved issues won't show. Set it to All.
- Use the same words each time. If you always write boiler rather than sometimes heating, one search finds them all.
